At the start of this week, the Phoenix project had a first integration workshop where the researchers met to integrate their intermediate results and, in the process, align their individual contributions, insights and goals for the project.
The 3-day meeting in Eindhoven was very useful. In fact, the participants felt that this was so useful that we decided to have similar workshops on a more regular basis throughout the project. The next integration workshop will be in about 1 month at RWTH in Aachen.
One of the outcomes of the workshop was the creation of a wiki section on this project website in which items that transcend individual workpackages can be shared. Currently these include the structure of the first demonstrator and a list of open cross-workpackage questions. All registered users of the website can contribute to and modify these pages.
